Executive Producer and Director of Syndication Development
Jason Fenwick, an original member of the Grow Indiana Media Ventures staff, last year moved
to Arizona to lead the expansion of Grow Indiana Media Ventures and develop the media company’s
newest product, Inside Arizona Business with Dana Cooper. He currently serves as executive
producer of that weekly television show and, as director of syndication development, is in
charge of exploring additional markets where the successful business model of business news
reporting may be replicated.
Jason joined Grow Indiana Media Ventures in May of 2000 as executive producer of “Inside
INdiana Business with Gerry Dick”, a weekly, hour-long business news program. Jason also
helped create and implement Inside INdiana Business Radio and Grow Indiana Productions.
Jason brings with him a background in television news broadcasting. Before coming to Grow
Indiana, he worked as senior news producer at the dominant news station in Wichita, Kansas.
While at KWCH, Jason was also awarded "Best Newscast" by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.
Jason grew up in Derby, Kansas, a suburb of Wichita. He stayed true to Kansas, later earning
his Bachelor's degree in Communications from Wichita State University.
Jason considers his lifelong relationship with an at-risk child through Big Brothers/Big Sisters one of his
greatest accomplishments. Jason was matched with Bobby in the spring of 1991, a relationship
that remains strong today. Jason was recognized for his efforts and was named "Big Brother
of the Year" for Sedgwick County, the State of Kansas and the Midwest Region. He was also
nominated for "National Big Brother of the Year". Jason was awarded a Presidential Point of
Light Award in 2000 for his commitment to helping Bobby. Bobby graduated high school in the
spring of 2003.
Jason and his wife have two sons, Jonathan and Connor.
