DANA COOPER

Host

Dana Cooper is a well-known and respected Tucson, Arizona, radio and television broadcast personality. Since November 13, 2005, he has been hosting the television show, Inside Arizona Business with Dana Cooper on KVOA, Channel 4 (NBC, Tucson). The weekly half-hour business news television show focuses on the issues, people and organizations driving economic development and business growth in Southern Arizona.

Cooper is a principal marketing consultant with Y2Marketing, a company that teaches businesses how to separate themselves from their competitors and to generate more business by communicating those differences through compelling marketing and advertising messages.

For 13 years, Cooper produced and hosted the Lute Olson and Dick Tomey Television Shows for the University of Arizona athletics department. He has also covered the University of Arizona’s football and basketball games, working for FOX Sports Net Arizona, KTTU-TV Channel 18 (UPN, Tucson) and KFFN-AM 1490, Tucson’s ESPN radio affiliate.

Cooper is a former sales manager and director of training and development for the Journal Broadcast Group, Tucson Operations, a cluster of four radio stations in Tucson.

An active civic volunteer, he is past-chairman of the Tucson Fiesta Bowl Committee and currently serves on the state advisory board for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the board of directors for both the Tucson Metropolitan YMCA and the Good Friday Breakfast.

Cooper and his two daughters, Quincy and Kennedy, are active members of Casas Adobes Baptist Church in Tucson. He also coaches his youngest daughter’s Oro Valley Fast Pitch Softball team.
